From the standard of the venue, and the kindness of their workers, to the passion of each the band and the viewers, the vitality ranges had been implausible.
“The probably surprising stars had been the younger Ukrainian women singing, and the one and solely irrepressible Tom Baigrie as auctioneer. Taken along with the good gadgets and experiences generously donated by so many fab firms and people, the end result was that the occasion has to this point raised nearly £50,000. That may make a giant distinction to so many in want.”

Along with the younger women’ superb singing, it was an actual reminder that away from the enjoyable and security of the occasion, the struggle continues, and – as ever – it’s the weak that endure essentially the most. That’s why we’re doing this, and why we should proceed to do that”.
Mr Billingham added: “Rock for Ukraine was a fairly particular place to be and we’re so grateful to those that gave their time, effort and cash for this trigger. Its unfair to single individuals out, however with out the band – Jenny, Ian, Mark, Chris and Nigel – none of this could have been attainable. And the person who drove a lot of the tangible success was Mark Locke of Lang Cat, who did a lot to make the entire occasion so successful.”
Mr Crozier added “It’s necessary we don’t simply cease and suppose ‘that’s it – its over’. The struggle goes on, and round a 3rd of the inhabitants of Ukraine is displaced. There may be extra to do.”
